Siglent SSA3000X-R Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers up to 7.5GHz GPSA/40MHz RTSA

Models Siglent SSA3032X-R, SSA3050X-R, SSA3075X-R

The Siglent SSA3000X-R series are powerful and flexible real-time spectrum analyzers for complex RF spectrum and signal analysis. With a capability of 25 MHz (standard) or 40 MHz (option) analysis bandwidth and 7.2 µs 100% POI, the analyzers can provide multi-dimensions data displays, advanced triggering, and RF data capturing, to solve modern RF spectrum challenges, like hopping frequency, conflict channel, spectrum interference, etc. A tracking generator for network analysis and pre-amplifier are standard. Optional wide band digital modulation analysis and EMI measurement are available. Applications include broadcast monitoring/evaluation, cellular site, IoT, WiFi, Bluetooth surveying, research and development, education, production, and maintenance.

  • Combines four analysis types: Real-time spectrum analyzer (RTSA), general purpose spectrum analyzer (GPSA), EMI measurement mode (option), and vector signal analyzer (VNA and DTF now included).
  • Spectrum analyzer frequency range (GPSA) from 9 kHz up to 3.2 GHz, 5.0 GHz, or 7.5 GHz.
  • -165 dBm/Hz DANL (displayed average noise level, typ.).
  • -98 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset phase noise (1 GHz, typ.).
  • Level measurement uncertainty <0.7 dB (typ.).
  • 1 Hz minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW).
  • Preamplifier standard.
  • Tracking generator standard.
  • 25 MHz standard, up to 40 MHz (option) real time analysis bandwidth.
  • 100% POI 7.20 µs, dynamic range 60 dB.
  • Multi-view for density, spectrogram, PvT and 3D.
  • See small signals in the presence of large signals with a dynamic range of 60 dB and FMT.
  • Locate the interested events in complex signal environment with frequency mask trigger (FMT)
  • Versatile options: Advanced measurement kit, reflection measurement kit, modulation analysis mode, and EMI measurement mode (perform better EMI tests with dedicated EMI receiver mode).
  • 10.1"/25.7 cm multi-touch screen; mouse and keyboard supported.
  • Web browser remote control on PC and mobile terminals and file operation.

Applications of the Siglent SSA3000-R Series

SA/GPSA: General Purpose Spectrum Analysis

  • AM/FM demodulation.
  • Interference and surveillance.
  • Insertion loss/reflection measurement.

AMK: Advanced Measurement Kit

  • Analyze modulated signal parameter (CP, OBW, CNR).
  • Determine signal quality (ACPR, CNR, hHarmonics, etc.).
  • Harmonics measurements .
  • Amplifier performance (TOI, etc.).

RTSA: Real-Time Spectrum-Analysis

  • Pulse measurements: Any kind of pulsed signals. Gather information about the carrier frequency, rise and fall times, occupied spectrum and pulse width.
  • Radar: Radar pulses must be measured within time and frequency domain to detect spurs, analyze the noise figure or the spectrum occupancy.
The transient nature of radar signals make capturing and analysis difficult. With RTSA FMT, it enables capture radar signal in complex EW spectral environment.
  • NFC/RFID/Bluetooth: Near-field-communication (NFC), radio frequency identification (RFID), tire pressure-monitoring systems (TPMS) or other communication standards can be measured and monitored. They are usually operating in bands where other applications are located too. Therefore RTSAs can be used to identify external disturbances.
  • VCO/PLL analysis: Random sweeping or glitch behavior is produced by voltage-controlled oscillators or phase-locked loop ICs that would not be detected by normal swept analyzers.
  • Spectrum management: Intermittent signals are nearly impossible to capture with an swept analyzer. With frequency mask triggers you can capture nearly any intermittent signal with 100% probability (note: SSA3000X-R 100% POI at 7.2 µs).

Wideband VSA

  • Transmission quality analysis (for AM,FM, PSK, MSK, FSK, QAM modulation).
  • SSA3000XP-DMA analysis bandwidth is only 2.5 MHz.
  • SSA3000XR-WDMA analysis bandwidth is up to RTSA BW (25 MHz standard, 40 MHz option).
  • New Easy VSA software supports SSA3000X Plus, SSA3000X-R, SVA1000X.
  • Play back in Easy VSA, Easy IQ and SSG5000X signal generator.

EMI

Since the devices are getting more and more complex there are much more potential disturbers. Distortion could be caused by switching between different operations modes or by only partly activated components. These can be captured and identified quickly by an RTSA. SSA3000X-R: New dedicated EMI measurement mode.
