The new high-end oscilloscop series Rigol MSO8000 combines up to to 7 instruments in one: A digital oscilloscope, a 16-channel logic analyzer (requires optional RPL2316 logical analyzer probe), a spectrum analyzer, an arbitrary waveform generator (option), a 6 digit digital voltmeter, a frequency counter and totalizer as well as a protocol analyzer (option). The digital storage oscilloscope section brings the unique UltraVisionII technology together with a capacitive multi touch screen into the bandwidth class between 600 MHz (MSO8064), 1 GHz (MSO8104) and 2 GHz (MSO8204). UltraVision with its highend chipset developed by Rigol is the combination of deep memory, high waveform capture rate, realtime waveform record and replay as well as a display with multi-level intensity grading. They are mixed-signal oscilloscopes (MSOs), i. e. they offer additional 16 digital channels for logic analysis in relation to analog signals*.
