B+K Precision 8550 Series Programmable DC Electronic Loads
The BK8550 series of electronic DC loads offer power up to 350 W in a compact benchtop form factor. The devices are ideal for testing and evaluating power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic systems. Static modes of operation include constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CW). Configurable list, transient, and automatic test modes provide dynamically varying load conditions for evaluating a variety of DC sources. In addition, the dedicated battery discharge mode simplifies battery testing with configurable stop conditions. Measurement data and other parameters can be stored directly to a flash drive.
