Improve Energy Efficiency with Regenerative AC/DC Supplies and Loads for Test and Laboratory
Within a very short time, the electric car has become a sustainable alternative for the combustion engine. This requires new solutions for testing, for example, in terms of batteries and charging stations. Power supplies and consumers must be reliably simulated to test all aspects of the new technologies.
Learn more about the extensive ITECH product range now: DC power supplies from a few 100 W up to the 100 kW range, also bidirectional and regenerative systems, AC power supplies, regenerative electronic loads, battery testers and more.
Interesting also for many other areas like alternative energies, semiconductors, IoT, "white goods" as well as IT and telecommunication devices.
Testing is the be-all and end-all
When products are launched on the market today - whether for consumers or industry - the user expects them to be mature, safe and tested. At best, a very low level of "teething problems" is accepted in innovative new developments, which then also have to be rectified quickly. Consumers expect something in return for the money they spend. And in the industrial environment, when high investments and/or high safety requirements are involved, it is quite natural that products are tested extensively and in accordance with common, legal regulations. For the developer, however, testing starts much earlier, namely in the phase of the first development steps via the preparatory conformity tests ("pre-compliance"), testing in production and quality assurance up to tests in maintenance during operation. Often, not only the actual product has to be tested, but also peripherals such as the power supply. Therefore, power supplies and loads play a major role in test engineering. Power supplies simulate power supplies, batteries, solar cells, generators and much more. Loads simulate the consumer at such energy sources. In addition, there are components such as rectifiers and inverters, power optimizers for solar arrays and much more.
When it comes to power supplies and loads, the manufacturer ITECH offers an extensive range of standard and specialized devices for such test applications. The power classes range up to the high, three-digit kW range. ITECH also offers interesting solutions especially for testing solar cells, arrays and their peripherals.
