Red-MU-PT100-44P obsolete. Fully compatible replacement: ▸Drago DR4x.

Benefits

  • Temperature transmitters for Pt100 and Pt1000, 2-, 3- and 4-wire.
  • Models with various standard output ranges available.
  • Rugged, compacte, DIN-rail mountable modules.

Temperature Transmitters, Fixed Ranges

The temperature transmitter Red-MU-PT100 converts the Pt-sensor signal to 0/4...20 mA and 0...5/10 V standard signals. The signal combination is selected by the order code, see table below. The 3-way isolation guarantees reliable decoupling of the sensor circuit from the processing circuit and power supply and prevents linked measurement circuits from influencing each other. The protective separation with high isolation level provides protection for personnel and downstream devices against impermissibly high voltage.

The sensor signal is amplified, linearized, modulated and then electrically decoupled using a transformer. The isolated signal is then made available at the output, demodulated, filtered and amplified.

  • Input signal Pt100, Pt1000. Sensor connection 4-wire, 3-wire, 2-wire with additional connection terminal 1 to 3.
  • Measuring range see table. Fixed range within -100...+450°C.
  • Sensor wire resistance <10 Ω.
  • Power supply 24 V AC/DC, AC 48...62 Hz, approx. 2 VA, DC approx. 0.7 W.
  • Construction 11.2 mm housing, protection type: IP 20.
  • Connection = 2.5 mm2, AWG 14. Weight approx. 50 g.
