PQ326 Milliohm and Motor Tester Kit

The Picotech milliohm and motor tester MT03A (in kit PQ326 with accessories) enables resistance testing of all windings of a 3-phase motor in less than a minute and provides highly accurate results that can be automatically temperature compensated using the included sensor. The MT03A is designed to meet the needs of technicians and engineers in a wide range of industries including automotive, off-highway, heavy duty, industrial, marine, rail, mining, heavy machinery, access machinery and renewable energy. With its grounding test according to UN ECE R100 and a minimum test current of 200 mA, the MT03A can be used for measurements on e.g. fuel pumps, air conditioning motors, regeneration pumps, blower motors, camshaft controls, EGR valves, turbo actuators and much more.

The device is also perfect for checking the earthing of control units, earth straps, starter cables, safety earthing, the quality of welding contacts and earthing tests. It has a USB port for easy connection to a PC without the need for an external power supply. The MT03A is supplied in a hard-wearing rubber case with a hanging bracket, while the S-hook allows for effortless mounting.

The dedicated Windows software application provides a clear user interface that ensures simplicity, speed and complete control over the tester. The highly accurate milliohm values can be automatically temperature compensated and the MT03A ensures accuracy and reliability even under changing temperature conditions. Kelvin clips are also included to minimize contact resistance effects when connecting the measuring unit to the component under test.
