PicoBNC+ Current Clamps
Pico Automotive Current Clamps with PicoBNC+ Connectivity Technology
These current clamps use the advantages of the PicoBNC+ connectivity technology. They are powered by PicoBNMC+ via the oscilloscope from the laptop/PC. The current clamps are automatically detected by the PicoScope software when they are connected to the oscilloscope, and are automatically set up in the software without the need to switch ranges manually. They are automatically calibrated by the software when they are connected to the oscilloscope, eliminating the need for manual zeroing.
PicoBNC+ Series Automotive Accessories
The PicoScope 4225A and 4425A automotive oscilloscopes are the first to use the new PicoBNC+ connectivity technology. PicoBNC+ is a plug-and-play connection system for intelligent test probes. PicoBNC+ retains the standard BNC connector, but adds digital and power supply interfaces, as well as reverse polarity protection. The connectors use color coding on the plastic housing. Interactive LEDs on the oscilloscope indicate what is expected from the scope and confirm what is connected. The new probes are automatically recognized by the software and set up accordingly by the oscilloscope. Due to the compatibility of the BNC connector with conventional probes (including those from third party suppliers), all existing conventional BNC probes can continue to be used (without the PicoBNC+ extra functions though).
