Keysight E4981B Capacitance Meter
From October 1-, 2024, the Keysight E4981B will replace the previous E4981A models - fully compatible and with almost identical technical specifications. The Keysight E4981B capacitance meter allows reliable, high-speedmeasurement and test of ceramic capacitors in the production lines. The E4981B offers measurement capabilities of capacitance from small to large values with accurate measurements. The capacitance meter contributes improvements of the test throughput, while attaining excellent component quality for ceramic capacitor testing.

(Cp: Capacitance value measured using the parallel equivalent circuit model;
Cs: Capacitance value measured using the series equivalent circuit model;
D: Dissipation factor;
Q: Quality factor (inverse of D);
G: Equivalent parallel conductance measured using the parallel equivalent circuit model;
Rp: Equivalent parallel resistance measured using the parallel equivalent circuit model;
Rs: Equivalent series resistance measured using the series equivalent circuit model). - High speed measurement with 2.3 ms (1 MHz), 3.0 ms (1 kHz), 11.0 ms (120 Hz).
